*Each Wednesday in April we are inviting the church to fast and gather with us to pray at three different times and locations (all are welcome). This the prayer guide for our gatherings today.

Hosea 10:12, “Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground, for it is the time to seek the LORD, that he may come and rain righteousness upon you.”

We have gathered here to pray that God would break the soil in our lives, in our church, and in our community.

  • Father, you will not fail to save your people.

    • Adoration: Praise God that He brought you into His salvation.

    • Confess: Where you have lost the joy of God’s salvation.

    • Thanksgiving: Give thanks that Jesus has done it all.

    • Supplication: Ask for renewed joy in salvation.

  • Jesus says, “For the Son of Man (Jesus) came to seek and to save the lost.” (Luke 19:10)

    • Jesus, would you seek and save the lost in our community.

    • Jesus, please save our children.

      • Pray for them by name.

    • Jesus, would you save _______________?

      • Pray for opportunities to share the gospel with this person.

      • Pray that God would soften their hearts to the good news.

      • Pray that the Spirit would open the eyes of their heart.

  • The Apostle Paul says in Romans 9:3, “For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh.”

    • Ask God to give you an urgent love to bring the gospel to those who haven’t yet trusted in Christ.

    • Thank God for the person who brought the gospel to you.
