Each Wednesday in April we are inviting the church to fast and gather with us to pray at three different times and locations (all are welcome). This the prayer guide for our gatherings today:

Hosea 10:12, “Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground, for it is the time to seek the LORD, that he may come and rain righteousness upon you.”

We have gathered here to pray that God would break the soil in our lives, in our church, and in our community.

  • Father, make us a people who desire to pray.

    • Adoration: Praise God that He invites us to talk with him.

    • Confess: Where you experience prayerlessness in your life.

    • Thanksgiving: Give thanks that Jesus never stops praying for us.

    • Supplication: Ask for desire for sustained and passionate prayer.

  • Jesus says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matt. 28:18-20)

    • Jesus, give me an urgency to share the good news of your salvation to those who don’t follow you.

    • Jesus, please save our children.

      • Pray for them by name.

    • Jesus, would you save _______________?

      • Pray for opportunities to share the gospel with this person.

      • Pray that God would soften their hearts to the good news.

      • Pray that the Spirit would open the eyes of their heart.

  • Spirit, we ask you to move in this community.

    • Give us a deeper delight in Jesus.

    • Heal our wounds, fears, insecurities, shame, and anxieties.

    • Start a disciple making movement here.
